We really enjoyed our holiday in the Alpbachtal in “Haus Schönwies”.The flat exceeded our expectations. We felt very comfortable.

The flat is very clean and despite being on the top floor it was pleasantly cool. (At 30 degrees during the day)

The hosts are very welcoming and you always get insider tips for excursion destinations as well as culinary specialities.

We can recommend the flat to anyone and will definitely be back.

Six of us stayed at Haus Schönwies to go ski touring in the region. The flats were great! Beautifully renovated and super clean! We had a cosy, perfectly equipped kitchen to discuss our adventures before and after. The landlords fulfilled our every wish! I will definitely be back!

A great place to stay. This flat is one of the best I have ever stayed in. Beautifully furnished and spacious with a wrap around balcony. The hosts were very approachable and friendly. An area pass was also organised for us which gave us free transport including the gondola in the area. The place and the surroundings are beautiful.

We moved into both flats with 6 men. Each kitchen is big enough to accommodate everyone in one flat, even when the flats are full. But one thing has not yet been mentioned here: Raimund is a famous Austrian. I don’t want to write any more here, Raimund can tell you that himself 😉

We were simply thrilled by the house “Schönwies” and especially by our FeWo “Schatzberg”. All expectations were more than exceeded. It was the best apartment we have booked so far. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, comfortable beds, what more do you need for a relaxing and recreational accommodation. The apartment is well equipped with everything you can imagine, nothing was missing. Superb views from both balconies.

What was particularly surprising was that, being an attic flat, it was very well air-conditioned, despite the relatively high outside temperatures of over 30°!
Last but not least, our hosts Angelika and Raimund were very friendly and helpful and always had good tips ready for our hiking plans, thank you both very much for that 👏🏻👍. We can recommend this apartment in all conscience 👍

The accommodation is newly renovated and top modern – yet the traditional Austrian charm has not been lost. The Resch – Hausberger family are perfect hosts.
The location is very good, many excursion destinations can be reached quickly from here.
The Alpbachtal offers many activities for families. There is also the Alpbachtal Card. With this, many activities are free or reduced – very good thing, we are thrilled. There is a special Alpbach app “Sepp” and many maps for good day planning. Especially recommended – the treasure map!!!
The tourist information also does a good job!!!
We will definitely be back.

We arrived at Haus Schönwies and were totally delighted with the extremely clean and comfortable holiday flat. The view from the balcony was unique. Here you can relax wonderfully and switch off from everyday life. Everything was available in the flat, which is very modern and furnished with love. The nice hosts also read our every wish from our eyes and made every effort to make us feel at home. Very nice holiday flat, great location, modern yet cosy, high quality, super nice and helpful landlords.

We had a great vacation at the end of March! The apartment is super equipped, spotlessly clean and has a very nice balcony with great views. The beds are very comfortable and there were plenty of towels. It is a few minutes by car to the ski area and you can walk to the village to Alpbach. We really can’t praise the accommodation enough and definitely want to come back. A high chair was even provided for our toddler and we could have had a baby crib too!

Being a very fussy when it comes to standard of accommodation it can be difficult to book holidays. Rarely am I impressed all around.
Well wow, this place was everything it claimed to be and more. It really is as nice as the photos, immaculate and clean and truely finished to a very high standard. All around comfortable and spacious with what you would expect from a holiday let.
The hosts couldn’t have been more professional and helpful. They answer all questions promptly and when we had a few issues, unrelated to them, they couldn’t have been more kind, helpful and responsive.

There are two balconies from which you can enjoy the beautiful view of the valley and the mountains. The beds are also top, we have rarely slept so well as here. The flat is in a very quiet location, you can only hear the babbling of the passing stream. The landlords are very warm and friendly. We like to come back.

We had a wonderful holiday in Alpbach. The landlords were very friendly and helpful. There are two holiday flats in the house. We had the Schatzberg flat on the top floor. On arrival the flat was equipped with dishwasher tabs, dish towels, washing up liquid in the kitchen and towels, soap, toilet paper and a hairdryer in both bathrooms. The view was phenomenal. The beds were very comfortable so we slept super well. Although it was around 30 degrees outside during the day, it was pleasantly cool inside the flat. The fridge is big and has a freezer compartment. It was a wonderful four days that we spent there.

We really liked our apartment in Haus Schönwies. It is modern and lovingly furnished and contains everything we needed for a successful holiday. Top class are the 2 balconies, from which we had a perfect view of the valley or towards the mountain.

The landlords are very friendly and accommodating.

In total smooth 5 stars from us 😃 Thank you for everything, we will be happy to come back.

My family and I were at Easter 2022 for a week in the apartment house Schönwies. We were very kindly welcomed by the owners. When we entered the apartment we were overwhelmed by how beautiful it was. It was luxurious but practical and met all our needs.

I would definitely recommend this beautiful apartment.

We spent a week as a family in the Fewo Schatzberg. The furnishing of the flat is new, very tasteful and just beautiful. There is everything you need.
Our children loved that they had their own bathroom. From the balcony you have a beautiful view of the Alpbachtal and in the background you can see the Karwendel mountains. There is a well with fresh spring water in front of the house. Perfect conditions for a great holiday.
The landlords are very nice and helpful.
We will definitely come again.

Very nice vacation apartment. Everything newly renovated, class equipment. Even two bathrooms for two bedrooms! One bathroom with rain shower, underfloor heating everywhere, new kitchen. Everything top! Also things like dishwasher tabs, soap, etc is available, in other apartments you bring such things yourself! During the renovation was also thought of “little things”, such as ski boot dryer in the basement. The old wooden beams were partially preserved, and yet modern renovated. Super successful and gladly again. Super view of the mountains, in the evening gorgeous sunset.

We were able to enjoy the Christmas holidays in the snow in this beautiful apartment.
The landlords are extremely accommodating and helpful. We were even able to arrive late in the evening.
The apartment is very modern and at the same time very comfortably furnished. To both bedrooms there is an en-suite bathroom. From two large balconies you can enjoy beautiful views. They invite you to linger even in winter.

My husband and I spent a wonderful week in the flat Haus Schönwies. The flat is just as beautiful as the pictures on the internet promise. Everything is furnished with great attention to detail and nothing is missing. Special highlight: the super comfortable beds! There are many hiking possibilities in the immediate vicinity. With the Alpbachtal Card you can use many mountain railways for free. The hosts are very friendly and extremely eager to fulfil every wish. We felt completely at home and would love to come back!

The apartment is situated in a dreamlike and idyllic location in the middle of alpine pastures and yet so cleverly that you can go to various shopping facilities within a few minutes. The apartment itself is very cosy and comfortably furnished. Modern and traditional at the same time. We had wonderful days with the Resch-Hausberger family. The apartment Wiedersberger Horn is very tastefully and modernly furnished with two bedrooms. We were guests as a family with three children in July 2020 in this wonderful apartment. The apartment is beautifully situated on the edge of Alpbach with a magnificent view of nature. Ffrom every window and from the huge cosy balcony with seating for the whole family. On our arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly hosts. Family Resch – Hausberger put a lot of heart and soul into the complete redesign of the holiday apartment, you can see that already on arrival. The apartment is absolutely clean, there is a lot of space due to well thought-out furniture, the beds are extremely comfortable, the bathroom is also very spacious with two washbasins and a large luxury shower. In the completely equipped top modern kitchen we could have breakfast very comfortably with five persons. Everything is really very, very high quality furnished. The children shared a room to three, also with a lot of space, great beds and a comfortable sofa bed. With the included Alpbachtal-Card we were able to go on great trips for free. Especially ideal for families! A walk in the beautiful little village centre takes about 15 minutes and is an experience in itself. We thank you very much for the great and relaxing time with you, dear family Resch-Hausberger!

A super nice, modern and very clean apartment. One feels directly very comfortable and at home. The rooms and the bathrooms are great designed and beautifully furnished. The location is really nice, at the upper end of the village, quietly situated with great views to all sides. Raimund is an ingenious host, who welcomed us directly with a schnapps and was always there for us. We also got great tips for the surroundings!

We were warmly welcomed by Geli and Raimund. We felt at home right away when we entered the house. The house meets exactly our taste. Spacious rooms, great room climate, shower/WC in every room, and much more. You can immediately see the love for detail!
All rooms are very spacious. The kitchen is super equipped, great bathrooms! It was all incredibly clean! We slept super well in the new box spring beds.
The house is ideally located, off the main road. Great surroundings to enjoy the peace and nature. One experiences recovery PUR! Hikes and mountain bike trails start right outside the door, several restaurants are within walking distance. Thanks again for the great time dear Geli and dear Raimund!

In advance very good communication with the landlord. During the stay the landlord was available for questions and answered quickly.
The apartment is large, the rooms very well divided, kitchen and bathroom fully equipped and everything in best condition. The balcony extends around the whole apartment.
For us as a family (2 adults and 2 children) the perfect size. The beds were comfortable. We will definitely come back.

The accommodation was completely renovated and furnished in a totally modern way. Everything was super clean and decorated with love to detail.
Especially the beds were very comfortable and you could relax very well. The next sledge mountain is not far away and also to the big ski area it takes only 5 minutes by car. But there are also free ski buses and the next bus stop is only about 200m away from the accommodation. Moreover, one gets a tourist card with which one can go to the thermal bath for free and also get some other things at a reduced price.
Also the owners were extremely nice and courteous.
One immediately felt comfortable and was very warmly welcomed.
We can highly recommend the accommodation and would go there again any time !

We were in Alpbach for 1 week in winter. The holiday flat is very modern and newly furnished. Many 4 star hotels do not have such a high comfort. The kitchen, the bathroom simply fantastic. The bedrooms are equipped with TV, the beds are great and we had a restful sleep. On the beautiful balcony terrace we could even enjoy the sun. Everything was furnished with love for details. One simply feels well. Free NETFLIX – and free WLAN. The landlords are very courteous and nice. If we ran into each other, they immediately asked if everything fits, if towels etc. are needed. We will not forget this holiday. We have booked for 2021 and are already looking forward to it.
